These rumors stem from a fight that became public back in October. It looks like Isaiah Washington feuded with fellow cast mate T.R. Knight and used a homophobic remark.
This was made even worse by his comments at this years Golden Globes when Isaiah took the microphone and said that he did make those remarks (and once again used the anti-gay remark).
CNN reported that they may remove Dr. Burke from the show due to Disney (who owns ABC) has a strict anti-discrimination policy.
Also does not help for the people who have signed this online petition...
