CBS Announces Cast for THE AMAZING RACE FAMILY EDITION

CBS has announced the contestants in the next edition of THE AMAZING RACE.

THE AMAZING RACE: FAMILY EDITION features 10 teams - each comprised of four family members - on a trek around the world for approximately 30 days. At every destination, each team will have to compete in a series of challenges - some mental and some physical - and only when the tasks have been completed will they learn their next destination. Teams who are farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning one million dollars.

The Gaghan Family, From Glastonbury, Connecticut, consists of Bill (40), Tammy (42) and their children, Billy (12), Carissa (9)

The Schroeder Family (Dad, Stepmom and Kids) from New Orlenas, Louisiana includes Mark (40) with his wife Char (39). Also included is Mark´s two children from a previous marriage Stassi (16) and Hunter (14).

The Aiello Family (Father and Sons-in-law) are from North Providence, Rhode Island. Tony (57) is racign with his three son-in-laws - Kevin (31), Matt ( 31) and David (26)

The Rogers Family is from Shreveport, Louisiana and include Denny (46), Renee (42) and include their two children, Brittney (22) and Brock (19)

The Black Family is Woodbridge, Virgina and include Reggie (42), Kim (40) with their two children, Kenneth (11) and Austin (8)

The Weaver Family (Widow and Kids) from Ormond Beach, Florida with Linda (46) and her three children, Rebecca (19), Rachel (16) and Rolly (14)

The Linz Family (Siblings) include Alex (22), Megan (21), Tommy (19) who are from Cincinnati, Ohio with their brother Nick (24) who currently resides in Buffalo, New York

The Bransen Family (Dad and Daughters) who reside in Park Ridge, Illinois include Walter (51), Elizabeth (25), Lauren (22) and Lindsay (20)

The Paolo Family are from Carmel, New York and include Tony (52), Marion (52), DJ (24) and Brian (16)

The Godlewski Sisters are from Des Plaines, Illinois and include Michelle (42), Sharon (39), Christine (37) and Tricia (26)

THE AMAZING RACE: FAMILY EDITION will premiere in a special two hour edition on Tuesday, September 27, at 9:00 pm EST/ 8:00pm CST on CBS.
