Right after the episode aired I started a petition to have Sherman come back on the Season Six FINALE show. The day after the episode aired he appeared on a Fox News station and this is what he said about why he went on the American Idol Audition show.....

“I was singing to her. I want to sing. I promised Melissa I would sing. I promised her I would sing as much, to as many, for as long as I possibly could and I told her that before she left me”.

So, why not have him on the FINALE show so he can fulfill his promise he made to his lady love Melissa and sing to MILLIONS!! and perhaps maybe this would help him bring some closure to her passing.
