Episode 3 Thoughts (aired 10-5-05)

Marth Stewart apprentice has a different feel. Its almost like she wants to be the NICE GUY and make sure everyone is happy.

She is also definately using it to try to win back people and their opinion of her. She called the contestants herself from her stable. Look so staged and was kinda silly but it was to show her softer side and that she is better after all that has happened.

Over all it is the same feel once the teams begin their tasks. If you did not know what night it was you would not really be able to tell which show you were watching. Donald's or Martha's.

Some things I don't like about her show...
1. No real catch phrase. "It's time to say goodbye?" Weak. I would want something better from Martha.
2. Conference Room - again...soft. Board room = hard, cold, power. Conference room is warm, fuzzy, lets chat type of setting. Guess it works for her.

Stuff I LOVE about this show...
1. Marth writing the rejection letter at the end. Summing up the lesson learned and what the person who was just asked to leave should take from the experience. Very nice touch.
2. Martha really being in control. Don't let her fool you. This weeks episode the guy brought in 2 people and Martha said...NOPE...and asked everyone to come back. Donald would have fired the guy who brought in the wrong people for being stupid. Instead Martha knew who was to be fired and made it happen.

Overall it was a great episode. Since I am a mobile DJ I loved all the wedding talk and stuff about the cake. I thought there was some great lessons to be learned in there and am excited to keep watching.

Yep it was a ncie episode and i agree with almost everything u said.

However i liekd the losing teams cake. Had a lot more character. And they DID do research. It was just the wrong type, lol. They shouldve chosen a more neutral color like blue though. Im sorry but I have to say the other cake was UUUUUUUUGLY!

As far as the cake...
I liked the cake that lost. Pink = OK! Oval = Not so much!

I loved the cake that won though. Just had an artsy look.

All I know is my wedding cake was like $100 bucks and nothing close to $6.00 to $10.00 dollars a slice!

I likes the ovals actually. Gave the cake chracter. The other one just made me sick. lol. It was a high end cake which is why it was so expensive but $100 still seems too good to be true. Was it "wedding" cake? Mustve been a small wedding.

As for the recap it was a different style of doing so. It had more opinion in it then most ppl's which i liked but it wasnt ENUF of a recap to inform someone who missed the episode for example. A great type though for ppl like me!

Yeah...not really a recap...more like a my take on the show.

I dont like show recaps thanx. Not to write at least. I hate writing long things. Thanx anyways. I think Ill just stick to general comment after each show that pertain to that particular episode.

As for the prize, thats no problem at all I wasnt expecting it fast. Just wondering if u DO know how long it'll take that'd be great. otherwise ill get it when i get it
