I have a question here?

I just got done reading this guy’s or lady's post, complaining that people rated hisor her post a 1 star then he or she went and changed the other post to a 3 star to make it fair. Sorry it seems to me being childish going around changing other people post just because they might not like what you have written here. Besides I don’t know how you can change a post when you can only rate that post only once?

Okay I know u guys loveJanelle. I do too, ive loved her since the beginning. But in the latest poll called who will win BB6 the majority of ppl said janelle. This proves that tese ppl are amazingly one-dimentional. There is pretty much no way Jannelle can win this. Unfortunatelty her house guests dont like her and the only person she could POSSIBLY win against is Howie, and I think those odds are pretty much gone. Like I said near the beginning, Ivette will probably win but of course this can change.

Now feel free to do the usual thing u do to my posts and rate it 1 star and then go rate ur own posts 5 stars. In case uve been wondering why ur 5 star posts have been changed to 3 stars, i did it. I thought since u can self-proclaim a post, i can at least even it out a bit...

Now for my question how is someone able to go back and change someone rating when you are only allow to rate a star only once? It does not seem all that fair when you go back and change it? And how in the world would someone who is voting on a rating star?

The thread rating system is available for people to rate threads how they see fit. If it is something they found valuable and awesome information they can rate it 5 stars.

If someone finds it not very high quality or not relevant to something that is not in sync with the forum it is in.

Unfortunately, people have been using them when they disagree with someone elses opinion which is not really something that should be rated. Opinions are opinions. Reality TV is fun to watch and its fun to chat about.

If I rate something one star and you rate something 5 stars then it will show 3 stars (average it out).

That is how it works. From what I have seen online (and yes....I see everything) it looks like a few people have been kinda "at war" using the rating system. This is NOT what it is to be used for.

I am considering removing the rating system and possibly having only moderators be able to RATE threads from here on out.

I too think it would be a good idea if there is others getting upset over the star rating, I for one don't mind it. It just tells me that there is others out who don't agree with me. And I like to know that we all cannot agree on the same thing right? If someone wants to give me a one Star so be it.

Forums are pratically meant for debates. If someone disagrees with you, they should be talking about it in the forum, not rating it bad for the hell of it. Snd many ppl are rating there own posts 5 stars. I personally dont like this rating system but support the idea that only forum should be able to rate. In this case the rating system would serve its real purpose which is to filter out non-relevant posts, i think.

I posted that message in case ur wondering and did it pretty much for the simple reason that im tired of seeing stars. :-P Good luk to u all
