Why flamers?

Why is it that whenever BB chooses the obligatory gay contingent on the show, they always pick the screaming flamers and they sure outdid themselves this year. My first pick for elimination is Joey. As a gay man it disturbs me to see this nelly queen perpetuate the stereotypical image of what straights see as gay. Most of us are masculine regular guys but I guess that doesn't make for good television.

I think overall, the people at CBS try to get "extreme" or "outrageous" personalities. I think they purposely cast them, not so much to fill a stereotype but more to make there be some extra tension in the BB house. Again, this is just my opinions but could be part of the reason!

I don't know but Dustin is also gay and he is not as "girly" as Joe.

I agree. Joe is just too flaming! But I also see it as the tension riser. I would love to see Joe gone and soon, but I dont see that happening becuase of the whole Joe/Dustin connection, so that they can keep the so called entertainent going. Lets just hope that America used Eric like they should and we (America) can get Joe gone..............

But it took me till now to show my anger at the display Joe put on.do gay people really have to go over the top?i stayed up late to watch what happens on Shotoo and Joe is not a big player and than comes Sunday and and this happens.don't know if i'll bother watching if Joe has much of a leading role.Dustain seems to be more cool than joe.that out burst just left me wandering what a bore this season will be. the show doesn't really give a fair look at what is really happening.there are alliances being made.
P.S. hope Amber is the first to go if not Joe.enough of this crying.also hope this is the right spot to vent,if not point me in the right direction.just like to say i'm not against gays on the show,where are the lesbians?
