Default Isaiah Washington fired from Grey's Anatomy

So will you still watch now that Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Burke) has been fired?

It was weird how the season ended with him leaving after Christina had stood him up at the alter. I guess we now know that he has left for good.

My guess for the next season will be a lot of Christina and how she is dealing with Dr. Burke leaving...

What are your thoughts?

Also...as far as the firing? Does the sentence fit the crime. Do you think he should have been fired for using 2 anti-gay slurs? He did publicly apologize for his comments but it looks like that just was not enough.

I never really got into this show but when I did watch the (very) few episodes I did think it was a good show. I did see the last episode I think it was really good even tho I don't know the whole story line. I found the article below they said he also had anger problems so maybe there was more then just the slurs going on? If it was just the slurs I don't think he would of been fired.

''Executives tied to the show say the fourth-season plan is to add several cast members, including at least one fresh-faced new intern: Meredith Grey's half-sister Lexi (Chyler Leigh) will become a frequent presence with a multi-episode story arc. They are also seeking a new recurring male character to compete with Patrick Dempsey's Dr. McDreamy."

"He apologized, entered a counseling program, met with gay-rights groups and filmed a public-service announcement, which ABC began airing last month."

"Executives involved with the show, requesting anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation, say that beyond the anti-gay slur, Washington had "anger management" problems, which led to sometimes tense conditions on the set."
