Anyone heard of this company?

Hi, I am new here. I have a question that I am hoping someone can answer.
Has anyone ever tried to be on one of the shows? If so, are you familiar with hollywoodnorthentertainment.com? I was contacted by them and am interested but they asked for a fee so I was wondering if they were legit or not. Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

I went to that website you mention in your post and it seems weird. What do they offer for their "fee"...tell me a little more. I am interested.

First though, I would always be skepticle of anything that would charge a fee and make lofty promises. Seems a little shady. Most Reality TV shows have FREE appication processes...however there are SO MANY PEOPLE who try out that it is tough to get on the shows. I personally believe they look for specific TYPES of people to fill their shows. Who knows....maybe they just throw darts!

Tell us more and I would be willing to look into it some more....just do not jump in until you do all of your research!

Well, I don't have much to tell. I did fill out a simple profile. He called and asked for me to send him 3 pictures. Two head shots, and a full length shot. I did that. He called back and we talked for a few minutes. He went over what the process is. Told me about some of the shows they deal with. Said they are scouting for the fall line-up. Let's see, the 275 is to cover costs of the templates and the setting up of the profile to give to potential shows. He said they never used to charge a fee, but found that some people are not serious and they loose money that way, because when they find them something they won't do it and there is no payback, so, that's about it. He said I could go by credit card, for the whole amount or pay 30 a month. Is there any way this could be checked? I've been raking my brains trying to find something on them. All I get is that one site, and then several others with their name as a sponsor listing? Any ideas?

I visited the site you mentioned above and I would strongly advise against it. If your interested in being on a reality TV show contact the main show like CBS.com etc. It doesn't seem legit to me at all. $275 to set up a template for your profile and what not is ridiculous. Don't risk waisting your money, go with something you know is legit. Sounds like a scam to me.

Hi, Well I've learned a lot from my post here. I am not really a reality tv watcher but I thought I would give it a shot to be on a show. I didn't expect to hear from anyone, but someone called. Now that I've talked to you guys I realize that this site is most likely a scam. I would not give anyone my credit card over the phone unless I am placing an order for something. But, you guys really helped me in getting enough info to know that that is not how these shows work. Thank you!
